2013 - Side walk and space of conviviality for residents of a Social Housing in Terni (Italy). The inhabitants of the social housing are mostly elderly citizens citizens, young families and immigrants. Interviewed inhabitants reported many challenges, mostly related to the lack of spaces for sociability between the housing blocks and, a serious issue with mobility, since there was no distinction between walking and spaces in which cars could run. Hence, my team designed and self constructed in 72 hours, a prototype of a side walk and a space of conviviality to both stimulate the sociability and interaction of those inhabitants who have such a diverse background and at the same time, prevent accidents with cars. That intervention was worth the first prize of the edition of the competition 72HUA in Italy.

That intervention part of the “Internationale Bauaustellung Hamburg 2013”, as part of the event “IBA 48 stunden.”
